MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have:
- Grade 10 / ABET qualification
- Valid Code 8 driver’s licence
- Minimum of 7 months’ relevant experience
- Knowledge of the city or areas where duties will be performed
- Basic literacy

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will:
- Drive light and medium vehicles.
- Transport passengers when required.
- Collect and deliver mail, documents and office equipment.
- Collect, distribute and control the movement of documents.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on the allocated vehicle.
- Report vehicle defects promptly.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Complete prescribed vehicle records and logbooks.
- Maintain accurate trip sheets.
- Record official trips and daily mileage.
- Deliver documents within the department and to external parties.
- Ensure documents are transported and handled securely.
- Assist with registry functions.
- File incoming correspondence.
- Assist with tracing files.
- Photocopy and fax documents when required.
