This is a permanent, full-time position requiring Matric and relevant work experience. The successful candidate will support Fruitstop operations, including food preparation, stock handling, cleaning and general assistance.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have:
- Matric / Grade 12
- Relevant experience as a Cook, Deli Assistant, General Assistant or Waiter/Waitress
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Clear criminal record
- Must live within 20 km of the job location
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will:
- Assist with general day-to-day duties.
- Prepare cut fruit, smoothies and salads.
- Cut and prepare fruit according to company recipes.
- Use Fruitstop equipment correctly.
- Receive and store incoming supplies.
- Store food correctly to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage.
- Manage food supplies and equipment.
- Monitor stock and report low supplies to management.
- Check prepared food for quality and correct quantities.
- Conduct regular equipment checks.
- Keep equipment clean and properly maintained.
- Report equipment problems when required.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working area.
- Follow required closing procedures.
- Assist other team members when necessary.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
The vacancy lists Delivery Assistant experience as an advantage.
Candidates between 18 and 32 years old are also listed as a preference, rather than a mandatory requirement.
