MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have:
- ABET Certificate
- Basic knowledge of cleaning principles
- Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals, including correct dilution and mixing
- Basic knowledge of health and safety requirements
- Basic record-keeping knowledge
- Ability to follow safety rules
- Good communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
Previous cleaning-services experience will be an added advantage.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Successful candidates will:
- Provide general cleaning services.
- Clean offices, corridors, elevators and boardrooms.
- Sweep, scrub, vacuum and shampoo floors.
- Dust and wax floors and other surfaces.
- Clean walls, windows and doors.
- Empty and clean waste bins.
- Collect and remove office waste.
- Clean and freshen offices, boardrooms and other work areas.
- Clean kitchens and storerooms.
- Clean and maintain restrooms.
- Refill hand-wash soap, paper towels and toilet paper.
- Clean microwaves, vacuum cleaners and other equipment.
- Maintain cleaning equipment after use.
- Monitor cleaning-material stock.
- Request additional cleaning materials when required.
- Report broken machines and equipment.
- Assist with other duties when required.
