MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Ability to communicate in English
- Cleaning skills
- Good customer-service skills

- Ability to follow instructions
- Trustworthy and honest approach to work
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
The position also lists:
- South African status
- Clear criminal and credit checks (MIE)
- Driver’s licence and own reliable transport
Speaking a second additional language will be advantageous.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will:
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the Head Office.
- Clean communal areas daily.
- Keep the canteen and restrooms clean and properly stocked.
- Clean areas when required throughout operational hours.
- Vacuum meeting and training rooms.
- Vacuum other carpeted areas according to schedule.
- Dust desks, chairs, telephones, shelves and photocopiers.
- Clean offices and meeting rooms.
- Safely dispose of refuse.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
- Use wet-floor signs when cleaning floors.
- Safely store cleaning equipment when not in use.
- Assist customers and visitors when required.
- Communicate professionally with staff and guests.
- Monitor kitchen and bathroom supplies.
- Report low or out-of-stock supplies to the team leader.
- Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment, lights, taps, doors, locks and other facilities.
