MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
- Grade C Security Certificate (PSIRA)
- 12 months of security experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Computer literacy
- Planning and organisational skills
- Knowledge of relevant security procedures, legislation and departmental policies
KEY DUTIES
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Controlling access into and out of Labour Centres and the Provincial Office.
- Protecting employees, clients, information and assets.
- Conducting security patrols of buildings and offices.
- Monitoring the movement of people and assets.
- Helping maintain a safe and secure working environment.
- Conducting internal investigations when required.
- Enforcing security rules and regulations.
