Parts Incorporated Africa is looking for 7 Light Duty Drivers to join its team in Gqeberha.
The purpose of the position is to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of goods to and from customers while following all company delivery and vehicle procedures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12
- At least 3 years of delivery experience
- Valid driver’s licence
- Valid PDP – essential
- Good time-management skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Honesty and integrity
- Sober habits
- Clear criminal record
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Inspecting the vehicle before departure and upon return.
- Completing vehicle inspection lists and submitting them to the Dispatch Supervisor.
- Immediately reporting vehicle faults or problems before leaving the premises.
- Checking parcels with the supervisor before loading.
- Following the required dispatch and loading procedures.
- Delivering parcels to customers according to designated routes and trip sheets.
- Following the company’s Proof of Delivery (POD) procedures.
- Ensuring customers comply with POD requirements.
- Following RFC procedures.
- Delivering documents and collection slips allocated to each trip.
- Obtaining the required proof of delivery.
- Submitting completed trip sheets and documentation to the POD clerk.
- Following up on outstanding trip sheets and delivery documentation.
- Keeping the assigned vehicle clean and properly maintained.
- Reporting vehicle problems to the Dispatch Supervisor immediately.
- Reporting any delivery or POD-related problems to the supervisor.
- Ensuring stock is not transferred between customer shops.
