The Limpopo Traffic Learner Officer Learnership 2026 is now open for applications. The Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety is recruiting 204 Learner Traffic Officers for a 12-month learnership programme.
This programme is aimed at unemployed South Africans who want to build a career in law enforcement, road traffic management and public safety.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification recognised by SAQA
- Be between 18 and 35 years old
- Valid driver’s licence
- No criminal record
- No visible tattoos
- Be medically, mentally and physically fit
- Not be declared unfit to possess a firearm
Applicants should also have:
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to drive a motor vehicle
