REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in a food factory environment will be an advantage
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (HACCP)
- Ability to perform manual labour and stand for long periods
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures
- Experience with production equipment will be an advantage
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime
- Physically fit and able to lift moderate weights
DUTIES:
- Sort, grade, and pack dried fruit according to quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the work area
- Assist with receiving, handling, and storing raw materials and finished goods
- Identify and report product defects or equipment faults
- Meet daily production targets and quality standards
- Assist with stock counts and inventory control
- Ensure product traceability records are maintained
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Comply with food safety, health, safety, and company policies
- Perform ad hoc duties as required
