REQUIREMENTS:
• Grade 10 (NQF Level 3)
• No experience required
• Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
• Ability to use electrical and hand tools
• Ability to work independently
• Willing to work away from the station for extended periods (camp environment)
DUTIES:
• Assist with the construction and maintenance of agricultural infrastructure
• Prepare construction sites and access roads
• Handle construction tools, materials and equipment, including welding equipment
• Plant fence posts and install fencing
• Perform manual labour and concrete construction work
• Cut grass and control vegetation around offices and camps
• Clean and maintain buildings, gardens, stores and equipment
• Assist with repairs and emergency breakdowns
• Load and offload construction materials, machinery and equipment
• Ensure safe loading, storage and transportation of materials
• Assist with stocktaking and record keeping
• Comply with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements
