About the Position
BCE FoodService Equipment is seeking a dedicated General Cleaner to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness across offices, showrooms, warehouses, and other company facilities.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent
- Experience in a similar cleaning role
- Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment
- Basic health and safety or first aid training (advantageous)
- Sober habits
- Professional and presentable appearance
- Willingness to work overtime when required
Key Responsibilities
- Clean assigned work areas daily
- Empty, clean, and manage waste bins
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and polish floors
- Vacuum and spot-clean carpets
- Dust and clean furniture, shelves, cupboards, and windowsills
- Refill consumable supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels
- Clean toilets, urinals, basins, and drinking fountains
- Perform specialised cleaning in showrooms, offices, and warehouse areas
- Clean warehouse racking and stacking areas
