Position: Picker (Forklift Operator)

Purpose of the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate stock movements within the Supply Chain environment, operating a forklift safely, and supporting warehouse operations to ensure stock is picked, stored, and dispatched correctly and on time.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- 1–2 years warehouse experience
- Valid Forklift Licence
- FMCG warehouse experience will be advantageous
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and issue stock accurately according to approved documentation
- Apply FIFO and FEFO stock rotation principles
- Receive, stack, rack, and store stock safely
- Operate forklifts in accordance with safety procedures
- Conduct daily forklift inspections
- Report defects and equipment issues immediately
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Assist with stock counts and inventory control
- Identify and report slow-moving stock
- Comply with PPE, quality, and safety standards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
