Job Overview
An opportunity has arisen for a General Worker – Assistant Driver to support loading and offloading operations, assist drivers with deliveries, and ensure vehicles are kept clean and operational.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric / NQF Level 4
- Clean criminal record
- Medically fit
- Own reliable transport to and from work
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Experience in warehousing, manufacturing, transport, or logistics environments
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects repeatedly
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated and able to work without close supervision
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload company products
- Assist drivers during deliveries
- Help locate delivery addresses when required
- Report delivery-related issues to management
- Obtain customer signatures for delivered goods
- Complete delivery records and reports accurately
- Clean trucks and delivery vehicles
- Assist with vehicle offloading after shifts
- Perform general housekeeping duties
