Minimum Required Qualification:
Abet level3 or NQL Level 4(National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate for Adults)
Previous inventory experience would be advantageous.
The Appointee should:
Medically fit to work in the specific business area
Clear security screening record
Valid drivers license(if applicable)
Advantageous Qualifications:
Computer skills
Forklift license will be advantageous
Additional Requirements:

Good communication and interpersonal skills
Must be willing to work overtime on an ad hoc basis
Exhibit good written and oral skills (English)
Key Responsibilities:
General Material Handling
- Offloads and loads material as per instruction from supervisor and laid down standards and procedures
- Marks material and packs in designated areas ensuring that “stacking and packing” method is according to laid down procedures and good housekeeping practices.
- Maintains Health, Safety, and Environmental practices according to code of practice.
- Assists with Stock Taking on a quarterly basis by conducting physical counts of stock on hand.
- Ensures area of responsibility is cleaned and maintained according to Health, Safety, Hygiene, and Environmental standards and procedures
- Perform general maintenance and construction work when called upon by the supervisor.
Stakeholder Relations - Ensuring open communication channels with all relevant stakeholders.
Financial Management Cost Savings: - Adhere to cost-saving and cash conservation initiatives.
Building a valuesbased organisational culture - Actively support and meaningfully participate in the execution of the segment specific organisational development plan. This support will manifest in the targeted shift in culture as described by a valid culture assessment.
ESG Compliance - Align to international responsible mining principles.
- SA Gold Operations: Align to World Gold Council (WGC) Responsible Gold Mining Principles (RGMPs).
- SA PGM Operations: Enhance Together for Sustainability (eTfS) initiative.
- US PGM Operations: Enhance together for ICCM principles.
