Minimum Requirements:
Essential:
Grade 12 / Matric
Up to 6 months’ retail experience
Computer literate – MS Office
Willing and in a position to work retail hours

Job Description:
Restock merchandise as wanted to make sure most sales
Ensure delivered stock/stock pulled from the storeroom, is saved and packed in the right area timeously
Ensure stock on cabinets has no longer reached the sell-by date
Ensure the full variety of merchandise is on the cabinets at all times
Facilitate rotation of inventory on a regular, FIFO basis
Report low inventory levels, out-of-stock items, broken stock, and expired inventory to management
Assist with counting of inventory archives and familiar stocktaking
Adhere to Dis-Chem’s running standards, save the layout, and planograms
Ensure containers are flattened after unpacking inventory and taken to the certain area
Ensure the front store cabinets and merchandise are neatly introduced and seen at all times, with the right labels and pricing
Report all charge discrepancies to management
Keep abreast of contemporary and new products
Ensure merchandising shows are built, confronted up, stocked, and maintained
Maintain everyday bodily renovation of save and merchandise displays, and be accountable for your targeted inventory in the storeroom as properly as on the store floor
Assist with loading and off-loading of stock
Ensure gadgets except barcodes are truly marked
Assist with returned shopping
Assist in the coaching of new staff
Provide friendly, helpful, and courteous help and recommendation to all customers
Ensure all out of inventory queries from clients are observed up with the consumer provider out of the inventory list
Ensure all patron inventory queries are dealt with and resolved
Ensure the right uniform and badge are worn at all times
Minimise any losses via coping with all merchandise carefully
Adhere to Dis-Chem insurance policies and procedures, SOPs, and fitness and protection guidelines and regulations

Able and bodily in shape to raise and cross heavy boxes, and make sure fitness and protection requirements are adhered to
