Position Description
The fundamental motive of the job is to be a key participant in handing over the Customer Charter and reaching excessive patron pleasure mixed with optimized aftermarket profitability via presenting carrier shipping in line with our customers’ expectations and supporting all applicable features inside the components warehouse. Secure that the dealership is working in accordance to the GVS method in the phases “Planning”, “On Arrival”, and “Dealer to the client and comply with-up”.
Reporting: This function will record to the Parts Warehouse Controller.
Job Objectives:
Receiving/Inbound
Ensure and oversee that the receiving of items is accomplished in accordance with Volvo procedure.
To make sure that all components are obtained precisely towards documentation and inside the prescribed time as set by using KPI standards.
To timeously file all discrepancies on the GDS gadget when components obtained are no longer conforming to requirements and to record descriptions and section numbers.
Ensure that components are binned in accordance with machine allocations and now not in accordance with label allocations.
Outbound
Process all patron order requests and make sure right picking, packing, and distribution of components in accordance to the Volvo procedures.
Must at all instances make certain that the gadget is up to date after authorization.
To make certain the right components and portions are dispatched as per invoice.
To furnish an environment-friendly and nice provider to the workshop with the aid of making sure that all Technicians acquire their components as quickly as orders are processed and components are picked.
Credit Notes
To make sure that savings notes are checked and signed off for processing. All deposit notes are to be filed in sequence and stored.
To make certain that the right methods are accompanied when processing credit i.e. No electrical components are back etc.
Perpetual Stock Counts and Bin Verifications.
Ensuring that perpetual counts are finished on an everyday foundation as per set portions on the complete extent of the Warehouse.
To make certain a thorough investigation is carried out when discrepancies occur.
All changes are to be investigated and updates are to be licensed earlier than the machine is updated.
House Keeping
Ensure warehouse premises (inside/outside) are constantly neat and tidy.
Ensure components are saved correctly.
Ensure all components are binned correctly.
Ensure waste is accrued timeously.
Perimeter secure.
Exchange Parts
Ensure components from clients care at the agreed change requirements (See Manual).
Responsible for bodily receiving & storage.
Responsible for making ready supplier/core returns.
Ensure that the packing and labeling of core components be again to PDC.
Health and Safety
To make certain that all warehouse personnel abides by means of the regulations and policies set apart in the Volvo methods involving fitness and safety.
Qualifications and Minimum Job Experience:
Grade 12.
Diploma in Warehouse administration or a minimum of three years of warehousing experience.
