Requirements: A grade 12/Matric certificate; Computer literacy certificate i.e. MS Office package (excel, word powerpoint etc). Knowledge and understanding of the legislative framework governing the Public Service. Knowledge of DHIS, TIER.Net, HPRS will be an added advantage. A minimum of two years in a data capturing environment will also be an added advantage

Duties: Collect data from various points in the facility. Check and verify registers before capturing. Report problems found in the registers to the information manager/facility manager. Check for missing data, add comments,s and mark records for follow-up. Follow up on incorrect daily data and provide feedback to clinicians to correct the eTick/paper tick register. Run absolute validation checks. Capture verified data in webDHIS DDC if available or complete the monthly input form for non-DDC sites. Monitor daily data entry for each service point. Follow-up on incorrect monthly data and do edits once the source documents have been corrected. Mark record as completed after editing completed Check that the incorrect record has been properly corrected in line with the SOPs/guidelines. Compile daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation reports for Auditor General on the spreadsheet provided. Perform data quality checks on webDHIS e.g. WHO Data quality report. TIER.NET patient record capturing, running and storage of line lists and reports
