REQUIREMENTS: An ABET certificate. Knowledge of cleaning principles. Knowledge of chemical use (dilution/mix). Knowledge of cleaning equipment to be used. Knowledge of health and safety requirements. Knowledge of basic record keeping. Basic understanding of applying safety rules. Basic understanding of applying or using chemicals correctly. Good communication interpersonal relations. Cleaning experience will be an advantage.

DUTIES: Clean laboratories and laboratory equipment and remove all waste according to procedures. Clean glass and plastic ware according to procedures. Remove gas cylinders. Complete relevant forms. Request cleaning materials. Clean storerooms, kitchen, offices, corridors and boardrooms any other environment allocated for cleaning. Emptying dirty bins. Prepare boardrooms for meetings and arrange utensils and cutlery required. Wash and keep stock of utensils and refilling of drinking water. Clean restrooms and refill hand-wash liquid and toilet papers. Report broken machines and equipment.
