Requirements :

Minimum qualifications Grade 10 / ABET level 4 certificate and above (original certified school report / transcript of not more than 6 months). Certificate in hospitality management will be an added advantage. Proven previous experience in a Food Service / Related Sector will be an added advantage. Knowledge of hygiene procedures and processes. Appropriate knowledge of food and food preparation. Catering skills. Problem solving. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Be able to work effectively within a team. Must be willing to work shifts, weekend, public holidays and night duty.

Duties :

Ensure proper and effective catering service. Perform daily cleaning tasks, hygiene and sanitation in the kitchen. Preparation of food for normal, therapeutic diets and snacks. Assist with preparation of VIP functions. Daily dishing-up of food for and distribution of meals to patient ‘s ward. Monitoring milk and bread issued to wards every morning. Transport food trolleys to different patient ‘s ward. Adhere to all Food Service Policies and Procedures. Be prepared to relieve in all areas of the Food Service Unit when required. Issuing of snacks and special diets to patients on the therapeutic diets and where required. Milk kitchen duties when required. Willing to undergo continuous training and development.
