A Warehouse Cleaner is required to help maintain a clean, safe and hygienic warehouse environment in Johannesburg South, Gauteng.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must have:

• National Senior Certificate or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.
• At least 3 years of cleaning experience in a warehouse, industrial or commercial environment.
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices.
• Ability to perform the manual tasks required by the role.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong safety awareness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will:

• Clean warehouse floors, walkways, desks, restrooms and common areas.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum designated areas.
• Remove dust, debris and waste.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste according to company procedures.
• Keep loading bays, storage areas and entrances clean.
• Maintain clean kitchen and bathroom areas.
• Refill soap, toilet paper and other consumables when required.
• Use and store cleaning equipment safely.
• Check that cleaning equipment is in good working condition.
• Report damaged or broken equipment.
• Report spillages, hazards and maintenance problems immediately.
• Inform the line manager when cleaning materials are running low.
• Assist in maintaining general warehouse housekeeping standards.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
