REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience in a food factory environment will be an advantage
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (HACCP)
• Ability to perform manual labour and stand for long periods
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills
• Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures
• Experience with production equipment will be an advantage
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime
• Physically fit and able to lift moderate weights

DUTIES:

• Sort, grade, and pack dried fruit according to quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the work area
• Assist with receiving, handling, and storing raw materials and finished goods
• Identify and report product defects or equipment faults
• Meet daily production targets and quality standards
• Assist with stock counts and inventory control
• Ensure product traceability records are maintained
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Comply with food safety, health, safety, and company policies
• Perform ad hoc duties as required
