REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 / National Certificate
• At least 5 years’ experience as a bus driver
• Valid Driver’s Licence (CE–G, CE–PG or C–G)
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP)
• Defensive and preventive driving skills
• Good knowledge of traffic laws and road safety
• Ability to comply with company policies and procedures

DUTIES:

• Safely transport passengers on scheduled routes
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report defects
• Ensure buses are clean, roadworthy and refuelled
• Register passengers and complete logbooks accurately
• Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations and company procedures
• Report incidents, accidents and vehicle damage immediately
• Attend safety meetings and training sessions
• Ensure passengers arrive safely and on time
• Maintain a professional attitude and provide excellent customer service
