JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Cashier, you will ensure customers receive excellent service while accurately processing transactions. You will be responsible for handling cash, card payments, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

REQUIREMENTS

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Previous cashier experience
• Must reside within 25 km of Bruma
• Clear criminal record

DUTIES

• Operate an electronic Point of Sale (POS) system with an attached scale
• Accurately process customer purchases and issue correct change
• Handle cash, debit card, and credit card transactions
• Balance all payment methods during cash-up
• Maintain a clean and hygienic till area
• Provide friendly and professional customer service
• Maintain knowledge of products, product codes, promotions, and advertisements
• Communicate effectively and manage time efficiently
• Work efficiently during busy trading periods

PREFERENCES

• South African citizens
• Candidates aged between 18 and 40 years
