COURIER VACANCY – PERMANENT DRIVER POSITION

Ampath Laboratories is looking for a reliable and professional Courier to join its Heidelberg team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting medical specimens, reports and parcels, helping Ampath provide timely diagnostic services to patients and healthcare clients.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must have:

Grade 12
Valid South African Code B driver’s licence
At least 4 years of general driving experience
Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
Strong communication skills
Good attention to detail
A responsible and professional approach to driving
Commitment to punctuality, safety and excellent service

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will:

Safely transport medical specimens, reports and parcels.
Complete deliveries using a vehicle or motorbike as required.
Ensure specimens and other items reach their destinations safely and on time.
Follow assigned routes and delivery procedures.
Maintain accuracy and attention to detail when handling medical items.
Communicate professionally with clients, colleagues and support teams.
Build positive relationships with Ampath clients.
Maintain high standards of reliability and professionalism.
Help protect the integrity of medical specimens during transportation.
Support the efficient operation of Ampath’s diagnostic services.
