MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must have:

• Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
• Grade C Security Certificate (PSIRA)
• 12 months of security experience
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Computer literacy
• Planning and organisational skills
• Knowledge of relevant security procedures, legislation and departmental policies

KEY DUTIES

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Controlling access into and out of Labour Centres and the Provincial Office.
• Protecting employees, clients, information and assets.
• Conducting security patrols of buildings and offices.
• Monitoring the movement of people and assets.
• Helping maintain a safe and secure working environment.
• Conducting internal investigations when required.
• Enforcing security rules and regulations.
