POSITION SUMMARY

Clicks Group is looking for Shop Assistants / Cashiers to join its store at Malekane Mall in Limpopo.

JOB PURPOSE

To deliver service excellence through efficient customer service, point-of-sale (POS) operations and merchandising activities that create a positive customer experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute all operational activities at the point of sale efficiently and on time.
• Accurately scan merchandise and process customer payments.
• Process ClubCard rewards and transactions accurately.
• Ensure safe handling of cash at all times.
• Promote the Clicks ClubCard and enrol new members.
• Promote current store promotions and specials.
• Provide friendly, professional and excellent customer service.
• Act as a Clicks brand ambassador.
• Maintain visibility and assist customers when required.
• Perform merchandising and general housekeeping duties according to store standards.
• Maintain excellent product knowledge and continuously develop retail skills.
• Share relevant product information with relief staff.
• Keep up to date with products, ranges, promotions and events.
• Support the Clicks Group vision and company values.
• Assist in ensuring customers receive accurate information and a positive shopping experience.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications and Experience:

• Grade 12 – Essential.
• Maths 50% at Grade 12 level – Desirable.
• English 50% at Grade 12 level – Desirable.
• Relevant Retail or Business Management qualification – Desirable.
• Previous customer-facing experience in a retail/FMCG environment – Desirable.
