JOB PURPOSE

The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping the school’s premises and training kitchens clean, tidy and presentable. The role will also involve performing additional duties as assigned by the line manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Keep lecture rooms clean and tidy before and during lectures.
• Maintain the training kitchen in a neat and orderly condition for demonstrations.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Prevent contamination within the school’s premises and training areas.
• Ensure all premises are clean, tidy and presentable for students and clients.
• Keep storerooms clean, organised and tidy.
• Keep stockrooms free from pests such as fish moths and mice.
• Take appropriate measures to prevent food spoilage.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the line manager.

REQUIREMENTS

• Entry-level position.
• Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ability to work in a school and training kitchen environment.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain cleanliness standards.
