JOB DESCRIPTION

Tsebo Solutions Group is seeking temporary Cleaners within the commercial industry based in the Limpopo area.

The role involves ensuring that all housekeeping duties are completed efficiently and on time. The position is shift-based, and successful applicants must be committed to maintaining high-quality cleaning standards at all times.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Properly clean toilets, equipment, offices, state property and assets.
• Ensure effective use of cleaning materials and equipment.
• Clean reception areas and offices daily.
• Empty office dustbins daily and dispose of refuse appropriately.
• Collect paper waste in specially marked recycling bins.
• Check bathrooms twice a day and clean as required.
• Dust office furniture regularly.
• Vacuum carpets at least twice per week.
• Clean windows on the inside at least quarterly on a rotational basis.
• Store all cleaning equipment and products neatly in designated cupboards.
• Assist with preparing meeting rooms and boardrooms.
• Ensure all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements are followed according to company policies, quality programmes and legislation.
• Maintain a high standard of morale and motivation through good communication.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management, including duties outside the normal scope of responsibility when required.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Good communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of general hygiene practices.
• Knowledge of facility layout.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and their applications.
• Ability to use various cleaning equipment and products.
• Basic literacy and communication skills.
• Understanding of departmental policies and procedures.
• Willingness to work extended hours, including overtime, weekends and public holidays.
• Preference may be given to candidates from the local area where the position is based.

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 Certificate.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Part-time position.
• Shift-based work.
• Applicants must be willing to work overtime, weekends and public holidays when required.
