JOB SUMMARY

Clinix Health Group is looking for a Laundry Driver to take responsibility for the safe and timely collection and delivery of laundry between hospital sites and the central laundry facility.

The successful candidate must comply with all applicable road traffic laws, company policies and safety requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

• Matric
• Valid Code 10 driver’s licence
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
• No infringements against the driver’s licence or permit will be accepted

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a driver

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collect all dirty laundry from hospital sites within the required timelines.
• Deliver collected laundry to the central laundry facility.
• Deliver clean laundry back to the relevant hospitals.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections.
• Report any vehicle losses, damage or defects to management.
• Maintain accurate records of kilometres travelled.
• Record fuel purchased accurately.
• Maintain accurate records of laundry collected and delivered.
• Respect the confidential nature of stakeholder information.
• Interact with hospital staff and other stakeholders in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintain the company vehicle in a clean and tidy condition at all times.
• Assist with ad hoc transportation of staff, equipment and other items when required.
• Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time.
• Comply with applicable road traffic regulations and company procedures.
