JOB DESCRIPTION

MCE Electric is seeking organised, detail-oriented and enthusiastic individuals to join its team as Warehouse Pickers and Packers. The successful candidates will support the efficient picking, receiving, shelving, packing and management of stock within the warehouse.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pick items from shelves according to order specifications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Receive, unpack and inspect incoming stock for accuracy and quality.
• Accurately shelve and organise products within the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean and organised packing and shelving area.
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
• Perform other warehouse duties as required to support daily operations.

REQUIREMENTS

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent to NQF Level 4.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations, picking or packing is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy stock when required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Work will be performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
• Requires standing, walking and lifting for extended periods.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be used where required.
