REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 10 or equivalent qualification.
• No experience required.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and perform routine tasks.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Previous Public Service experience will be an advantage.

DUTIES

• Clean interior and exterior areas, including bathrooms, showers, offices, wards, passages and waiting areas.
• Dust, wash, scrub and polish floors, windows, stairs and fire escapes.
• Clean side walls, medical equipment and fridges.
• Clean spillages and empty bins.
• Remove waste, including medical waste, in accordance with Health Care Waste Management policies.
• Apply Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) principles.
• Rotate within the scope of work when required.
• Perform other duties delegated by supervisors.
