REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12
• At least 3 years’ delivery experience
• Valid driver’s licence with PDP (Essential)
• Good time management skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Honest with high integrity
• Sober habits
• Clear criminal record

KEY DUTIES

• Inspect the vehicle before departure and after return.
• Submit inspection lists to the Dispatch Supervisor every Monday.
• Report any vehicle faults before leaving the premises.
• Check parcels with the supervisor before loading according to dispatch procedures.
• Deliver parcels according to the designated route schedule and trip sheet.
• Ensure customers follow the POD (Proof of Delivery) procedure.
• Adhere to the RFC procedure.
• Deliver all allocated documents and collection slips and obtain POD.
• Sign trip sheets with the POD clerk and ensure all assigned documents are returned.
• Take responsibility for outstanding trip sheets and related POD queries.
• Do not transfer stock between customer shops.
• Keep the vehicle clean and report any mechanical problems immediately.
• Report delivery or POD issues to the Dispatch Supervisor.
