REQUIREMENTS:
• Grade 10 / Standard 8 / NCV Level 2 (NQF Level 2)
• South African citizen
• Proficient in English and at least one other official language
• Valid PSIRA registration
• Grade C Security Certificate or higher
• Must not be declared unfit to possess a firearm
• Willing to undergo and maintain firearm competency training
• Relevant security courses will be an added advantage
• Valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage
• Willing to work shifts and extended hours

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
• Access control procedures
• Security procedures and legislation
• Emergency procedures
• Good communication and administrative skills

DUTIES:
• Control access to SAPS premises
• Verify and register employees, visitors and contractors
• Conduct security screening and searches
• Authorise entry according to security procedures
• Patrol buildings and secured areas
• Guard vehicles and equipment
• Inspect security equipment and report defects
• Perform security-related administrative duties
