Position: Cleaner

Salary: R144 024 per annum plus benefits (Level 2)

REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum ABET Level 4 / Grade 10 or equivalent qualification
• Good physical condition
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Hospital cleaning experience will be an added advantage

DUTIES:
• Clean designated areas including windows, walls, basins, sinks, lockers, beds, kitchens, and bathrooms
• Sweep, mop, and polish floors
• Empty dustbins and dispose of waste correctly
• Open windows daily for hygiene and infection control
• Refill toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the hospital environment
• Store and safeguard cleaning materials and equipment
• Report hazards and equipment malfunctions
• Follow instructions and maintain hygiene standards
