Requirements:
• Grade 10/AET Level 5 to Grade 12
• At least 1 year experience in a food service environment
• Hospital food service experience will be an advantage
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Good communication, numeracy and literacy skills
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Physically fit, reliable and trustworthy

Duties:
• Prepare and serve normal and therapeutic diets
• Cook meals according to dietary requirements
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards
• Wash pots, utensils, equipment and food service areas
• Pack and unpack food supplies
• Follow food service policies and procedures
• Rotate duties within the unit as required
