Requirements

Grade 10–12 or equivalent NQF Level 3–5 qualification.
Hospital environment and laundry experience will be an added advantage.
Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
Willingness to work shifts when required.

Duties

Distribute and collect linen from hospital wards.
Sluice and handle soiled and blood-stained linen.
Pack dirty linen into laundry bags and load them onto trucks for transportation to Masakhane for washing.
Offload and unpack clean linen bags received from the service provider.
Perform quarterly stocktaking of linen.
Work overtime and additional hours when required.
Provide assistance beyond normal duties when necessary.
