Pick n Pay is looking for a Shelfpacker to join its team at Moffet, Eastern Cape.

This is a full-time retail opportunity for a customer-focused and reliable individual who can maintain merchandise, housekeeping and stock standards.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must have:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Ability to communicate in English
• Valid South African ID
• Ability to pass the required assessments
• Ability to successfully complete competency-based interviews
• Flexibility to work shifts
• Willingness to be transferred between stores when required
• Willingness to authorise credit and criminal checks

Having 2–3 years of retail experience will be an added advantage.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will:

• Pack and maintain merchandise according to required standards.
• Maintain good housekeeping and hygiene standards.
• Keep the shop floor and back-up areas clean and organised.
• Follow workplace safety procedures.
• Follow store security procedures.
• Maintain required merchandise and display standards.
• Conduct regular product quality checks.
• Rotate stock correctly.
• Identify and remove damaged or expired products.
• Help prevent wastage, shrinkage and stock damage.
• Check that products have the correct prices and labels.
• Approach and assist customers.
• Listen to customer requests and help them find products.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Perform routine tasks consistently and efficiently.
