Barron is looking for a Packing General Worker to join its production team in Edenvale, Gauteng.

This is a permanent entry-level opportunity involving packing, unpacking, stock movement, garment handling and general production duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

Applicants must have:

• NQF Level 4
• Basic knowledge of health and safety principles
• Product knowledge
• Understanding of production processes
• Good attention to detail
• Good time-management skills
• Ability to follow processes and instructions

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Successful candidates will:

• Move stock between different production areas.
• Unpack incoming stock.
• Check products for correctness and quality.
• Pack branded products after completing quality checks.
• Rack garments onto the printing machine.
• Remove garments once branding is completed.
• Place printed garments into the tunnel and ensure they are properly cured.
• Remove threading and backing from embroidered garments.
• Cut materials according to templates using the appropriate cutting machine.
• Maintain production equipment and work areas.
• Keep the factory floor clean and organised.
• Follow required production and health and safety procedures.
