JOB DESCRIPTION

PURPOSE

Responsible for preparing and grilling menu items according to Pedros’ quality, food safety and presentation standards while ensuring consistency and speed of service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare, season and grill chicken and other menu items according to approved recipes.
• Monitor cooking temperatures, cooking times and portion control.
• Ensure food quality, taste and presentation meet brand standards.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report faults.
• Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards.
• Manage stock rotation using the FIFO method and minimise waste.
• Clean grills, workstations and utensils regularly.
• Assist with stock counts and ingredient preparation.
• Support kitchen operations during busy trading periods.
• Comply with health, safety and company policies.
