ADMINISTRATION CLERK (SCM) VACANCY – DEPARTMENT OF WATER AND SANITATION

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 (Senior Certificate) or equivalent
• 1 year experience in Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage
• Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of procurement administration procedures
• Knowledge of financial legislation
• Knowledge of PFMA and Supply Chain Management Regulations
• Knowledge of BAS, LOGIS, PERSAL or SAP will be an added advantage
• Valid Code 08 driver’s licence will be an added advantage
• Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure and travel when required

DUTIES:

• Coordinate demand plans and procurement processes
• Source quotations and process procurement requests
• Conduct inventory checks and goods receipting
• Assist with tenders, evaluations and adjudication
• Maintain procurement records and registers
• Process requisitions, orders and payments
• Administer stores and asset management
• Verify assets and assist with stocktaking
• Capture supplier information and handle supplier queries
• Provide logistical and administrative support
