HOUSEHOLD AID VACANCY – SA NAVY

Salary: R144 024 – R169 656 per annum (Level 02)

Centre: SA Naval College, Gordon’s Bay (Naval Base Simon’s Town)

REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum ABET qualification
• No experience required
• Housekeeping/cleaning experience will be an advantage
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Basic knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
• Ability to apply hygiene measures
• Knowledge of basic maintenance of machinery

DUTIES:
• Clean and scrub the galley and dining hall
• Clear tables and wash cutlery, pots, and kitchen equipment
• Clean galley equipment
• Assist with unloading and packing away supplies
• Set up and clear tables
• Assist with basic food and beverage preparation
• Perform other galley-related duties as required
