Job Purpose

The Driver – Internal Deliveries is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of stock between branches, ensuring accurate deliveries and supporting daily business operations.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid driver’s licence
• Physically fit and able to load and unload stock
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Reliable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00 – 17:00

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage internal stock deliveries between branches
• Collect and deliver stock according to scheduled routes
• Handle stock carefully to prevent damage or loss
• Verify delivery documentation and stock transfer records
• Load and unload stock safely
• Perform basic vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, tyres, cleanliness)
• Report vehicle defects and maintenance requirements
• Maintain professionalism at all branch locations
• Communicate delivery schedules, delays, and discrepancies
• Comply with traffic laws, company policies, and delivery procedures
