Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Minimum 3 years delivery driving experience
• Valid driver’s licence with PDP (Essential)
• Good time management skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Honest and trustworthy
• Sober habits
• Clear criminal record

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections before departure and after return
• Submit vehicle inspection checklists to the Dispatch Supervisor
• Report vehicle defects immediately
• Check parcels with the supervisor before loading
• Deliver parcels according to route schedules and trip sheets
• Ensure customers follow POD (Proof of Delivery) procedures
• Adhere to all delivery and collection procedures
• Return all signed delivery documents and trip sheets
• Maintain and clean company vehicles
• Report delivery issues and POD discrepancies to the Dispatch Supervisor
