Job Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a General Worker – Assistant Driver to support loading and offloading operations, assist drivers with deliveries, and ensure vehicles are kept clean and operational.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric / NQF Level 4
• Clean criminal record
• Medically fit
• Own reliable transport to and from work
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Experience in warehousing, manufacturing, transport, or logistics environments
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects repeatedly
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Self-motivated and able to work without close supervision

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload company products
• Assist drivers during deliveries
• Help locate delivery addresses when required
• Report delivery-related issues to management
• Obtain customer signatures for delivered goods
• Complete delivery records and reports accurately
• Clean trucks and delivery vehicles
• Assist with vehicle offloading after shifts
• Perform general housekeeping duties
