Requirements :
Must be able to read and write. Candidates with hospital experience will be at an advantage. Able to work under pressure. Working shifts, including night shift.
Duties :
Cleaning of wards, floors spillages, offices, corridors, boardrooms, windows, doors, benches, beds wheels, cleaning of staff and patients’ lockers, fridges, toilets, bathrooms. Kitchens, curtains, and high dusting, and ensure that the cleaning checklist is updated. Collection and returning of food trolleys to the main kitchen. Wash and keep a stock of kitchen utensils. Replace toilet paper, hand towels, and refreshers. Cleaning of machines and equipment after use. Request cleaning materials.

The information on the new Z83 must be in sync/correspond with the Curriculum Vitae. Only shortlisted candidates will be required/requested to submit certified copies of qualifications, service certificates, and other relevant documents on or before the interview. Candidates in possession of a foreign qualification will be required to furnish the Department with an evaluation certificate from the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). HR will conduct Personnel Suitability Checks (PSC) and Verification Checks. The Department reserves the right to conduct verification beyond information provided, where necessary. Failure to submit all the relevant information mentioned above with the exception of HR verification checks will result in the candidate being disqualified.
