Requirements :
Abet level 4 or Grade 10 with a Valid code 10/14 drivers’ license with PDP permit. Candidates must have an unendorsed driver’s license. Must have knowledge of the surrounding hospital and clinics. Must understand legislative prescripts governing the health sector.
Duties :
: Transportation of staff, patient, and documents. Report any faults regarding the vehicle, and be able to change a flat tyre if the need arises. Ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle. Conduct pre/post trip inspections before embarking on a trip and after using a car. Ensure safe and timeous transportation of staff and patients. Be able to work shifts. Ensure compliance with the Department of Transport handbook. Report any damages on the vehicles within 24hours. Compile an incident report to report damages. Be able to perform any other duties as requested by the supervisor.
