Job Advert Summary
To serve as liaison between the customer and the company by identifying and contacting current and prospective clients, generating Ready-Mix Sales solutions, and servicing customers to ensure satisfied customers through quality and consistency of service and product.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 Certificate with Maths.
5 years’ experience.
National Diploma/BCom/BA Degree or studying towards one would be an advantage.
Knowledge of the Construction Industry, Ready Mix
Good computer skills.
Good knowledge of sales and advertising techniques.
A good team player with a high level of dedication.
Own vehicle and Driver’s licence (Code B).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to persuade and influence others.
Incumbent must be able to render a professional service.
Duties and Responsibilities
To serve as liaison between the Sales department and Customers.
Identifying and contacting current and new prospective clients.
Generate sales proposals and servicing existing accounts to ensure quality and consistency of service and product delivery.
Handle and processing requests for quotes with accuracy and well in time on the computer system used at the time in the sales department.
Respond to complaints from customers and give after-sales support when requested.
Inform customers of unforeseen delays or problems.
Monitor the progress of the sales team, identify shortcomings, and propose improvements.
Generate sales – New and existing client liaise.
Generate reports for Senior Management that will give a clear overview of sales activities in the areas responsible for, and detail that is required from time to time on a monthly basis.
Execute sales strategies.
Adhere to customer service principles and practices.
Review pricing in line with the pricing matrix.
Seek opportunities for new clients for sustainable business growth.
Monitor and track sales performance through weekly and monthly reporting.
Effective stakeholder relationships through effective collaboration and communication.
Ensure customer excellence through proactive, prompt and effective responsiveness on all customer inquires and requests.
Manage quotation process in collaboration with the sales team in line with good governance.
Manage value-added customer services (Pumps, special mix requirements to meet customer’s expectations and liaise with quality department in this regard).
Maintain average selling prices as per the budget.
Ensure debtor controls are adhere to in line with credit management requirements
