REQUIREMENTS: Registration with the SA Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP) as a Social Auxiliary Worker. Computer literacy. Self-discipline.
DUTIES: Keep up to date on the Victim Offender Dialogue Programme and the ambitions and interests as set out in the Strategic Plan and Operational Plan. Locate victims. Keep archives on all tries to come throughout victims. Orientation of victims with regard to the interests and benefits of the Victim Offender Dialogue programme. Facilitate contact between perpetrator and victim. Assessment of manageable areas of conflict. Referral of identified areas of conflict to the Departmental social humans for in a similar fashion intervention. Provision of particulars of victims to Case Management Committee and Parole Boards. Establish database of on hand aid constructions in the regional (NGO’s, non secular care organizations, etc).
Orientation of NGO’s regional leaders and special stakeholders with regard to the ambitions and benefits of the Victim Offender Dialogue Programme. Orientate NGO’s, local leaders and households of every the perpetrator as desirable as the sufferer (s) regarding the blessings of the acceptance and reintegration of offenders into the communities. Handling month-to-month returns to Head Office with regard to standard overall performance on ambitions as contained in the Strategic Plan. Provision of wishes to Head Community Corrections with regard to dialog and travel.
