KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
 Protection of Denel Overberg Test Range client
property and personnel.
 Access control at various entrance points.
 Patrols on foot or vehicle as instructed.
 Guard duties at various points as instructed.
 Fire fighting after hours.
 An effective response to alarms.

QUALIFICATIONS
 Grade 12

SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES AND
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
 Code B driver’s license.
 PSRA Registration – Grade C.
 Firearms competency certificate recommended.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED  Candidate must be prepared to work
12-hour shifts.
 Candidate must be physically fit and healthy.
 No stress related or sleeping disorders.
 High level of integrity, accuracy and attention
to details.
 Well-developed interpersonal and
communication skills.
 Well-developed writing skills.
 Well disciplined.
 Team player.
 Highly motivated.
 Trustworthiness.
