SAFLog Consulting Services is looking for a General Worker to join its operations in Brakpan, Gauteng.

This is an entry-level contract opportunity in the logistics and supply-chain industry. Previous general work experience is listed as an advantage rather than a requirement.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must have:

Minimum Grade 12 / Matric
Ability to read and write
Basic computer literacy
Ability to communicate and report effectively

Previous general work experience will be an advantage.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will:

Assist with the off-loading of cement tankers.
Conduct inspections before and after off-loading.
Inspect seals on wagons.
Ensure wagons are empty before shunting from the chute.
Perform general housekeeping duties.
Perform duties involving working at heights.
Carry out general work as required at the site.
Follow operational and workplace procedures.
