REQUIREMENTS

• ABET Certificate.
• Knowledge of general worker duties and handling various equipment and appliances.
• Knowledge of general work, including lawn-care processes.
• Knowledge of pruning and trimming processes and techniques.
• Ability to work as part of a team and perform physical manual duties.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform general assistant duties.
• Load and offload equipment and other materials.
• Assist with fencing and weed control.
• Perform garden maintenance.
• Carry out painting duties.
• Assist with spraying weed-control products such as Roundup.
• Maintain dam premises, canals, pipelines, servitudes, terrain and buildings.
• Assist with extinguishing veld fires.
• Adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act and safety procedures.
• Perform other general duties as requested by the supervisor.
